He was born in Baghdad in 1972 and grew up in Al-Khalis district, where he completed his primary, intermediate, and secondary education. Since his childhood, he has been passionate about history and reading various books. He was influenced by his father, Professor Falah Al-Hajja Al-Kailani, who is a writer and poet, and inherited from him a love for literature, knowledge, and poetry. Since the beginning of his academic career, he has focused on Al-Qadiri heritage, which has become his specific specialization. He considers himself a student of Dr. Emad Abdul Salam Raouf and his historical school. He has taught in primary, intermediate, and secondary education, as well as lectured at Baghdad University, Al-Mustansiriya University, the Arab Historians Union, and the universities of Mosul, Al-Qadisiyah, Basra, and Wasit. He obtained a Bachelors degree in history from the College of Education - Ibn Rushd - Baghdad University. He also obtained a diploma in English language from the Teachers Institute. He did not stop there, but continued his studies and obtained a PhD in Islamic history from the Arab History Institute. Due to his passion for history and historical studies, he joined the Arab History Institute and the Scientific Heritage for Higher Studies affiliated with the Arab Historians Union in Baghdad. Furthermore, he obtained a Master of Arts degree in Arab Islamic history and civilization.
